2021 Holiday Shopping Recap: Season was Strong Despite Supply Chain Concerns
If you read my blog posts, you know that I love shopping. The holiday season, November 1 to December 24, is my favorite time of year for shopping…the decorations, the music, and the sales. The 2020 holiday shopping season was disrupted due to COVID-19 restrictions and in-person shopping included social distancing, a facemask, and hand sanitizer. What would disrupt the 2021 holiday shopping season?
Happy Holidays from IWCO Direct
It’s been an extraordinarily busy year at IWCO Direct, and we have a lot to be thankful for. This time of year, we’re always reminded of how remarkably proud and appreciative we are of our employees’ spirit of giving back throughout the year. Grateful for Friends, Family, and Business Partners
All of us have dealt with some very challenging times over the last 18 months or so. Change has not just been a major topic, but a necessity for many in our personal and professional lives. What these trying times have also shown, however, is one thing that doesn’t change is the need for gratitude. […]
Our Profound Thanks to Those We Work with Every Day
We often use the phrase, “It goes without saying” when talking about how much we value our coworkers, how much we appreciate our vendors, and how grateful we are for our loyal clients. But as Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded that, at least occasionally, it needs to be said …
The Ideal Thanksgiving is the One Where You Make Lasting Memories
Many dread the start of the holiday season. It’s often a busy, stressful time that doesn’t feel like the tidings of comfort and joy that are supposed to come with the season. The holidays are right around the corner and the older I get, the more I cherish making memories with family and friends. I may forget what gift I received from my Secret Santa, but I will never forget the look on my daughters’ faces on Christmas Eve as we were making cookies for Santa. The […]
We’re Thankful for the Commitment of Our Dedicated Employees and Loyal Clients
Mention Thanksgiving and most people, myself included, think about family traditions, long weekends, football games, floats, parades, and shopping. If I’m hungry, my thoughts tend to start with turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, and end with pumpkin pie. It’s important to remember that Thanksgiving is also a special time to reflect on things we are […]
Don’t Wait Until the Last Minute to Put Together Your Holiday Marketing Plans
There is something special about planning my holiday shopping adventure, sipping on a hot peppermint mocha latte lite with my shopping list and store coupons in hand. Although I tend to buy little gifts throughout the year, I enjoy the hustle and bustle of the season and do the majority of my shopping during the […]
