Mail-Gard’s Production Operations Teams Deliver Under the Toughest Circumstances

During the past two years, the Production Operations teams at Mail-Gard have been consistently called upon to continue business as usual during COVID-19.

Continuing to Provide Essential Services

At Mail-Gard, there are many teams that assist in Operational functions in order to get client product out the door―including Technical/IT, Customer Service, and Production Operations. Whether it’s critical communications, print-to-mail, or other manufacturing functions, these individuals are vital to producing the final product.

As an extension of the USPS, and a service-oriented business continuity/disaster recovery provider, Mail-Gard is classified as an essential business. We are proud to say that during a challenging period our Production Operations teams continue to show up to work while other businesses have been forced to reduce production due to lack of staff. We know that our clients rely on us to be there when times are tough, and I’m proud to say we came through for them!

Production Operations Adjusting to the New “Normal”

For a time, we enjoyed the lighter traffic and some level of “normal” that continuing to work allowed us.
Our Production Operations teams quickly learned and implemented new pandemic-related functions like temperature checks, social distancing, and contact tracing.

Operations leaders on the production floor had to learn and educate staff about COVID-19 protocols – which changed frequently at onset, and continue to be modified as we learn from this pandemic―all while trying to keep the shop running.

We rose above these challenges and continued to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. We owe it all to our loyal employees, and we want to thank them for their dedication as we say a heart-felt “Hail to Operations!”
