The heightened value marketers place on color accuracy across their marketing communications makes our announcement from earlier today very important. IWCO Direct has achieved G7 Colorspace Master Qualification for our web and sheet-fed lithographic presses, continuous and cut-sheet digital equipment, and proofing devices at all facilities. This is the most stringent level of G7 compliance recognized by Idealliance, and it means we’re one of a select few companies in the United States that is able to maintain extremely tight tolerances throughout the whole color space and can consistently reproduce the entire color space.
Our ability to provide a measurable, predictable, and uniform color management process is extremely important to ensure consistent corporate identities. Our clients have chosen their specific brand colors and want those colors to be as precise as possible on all their marketing materials. Our G7 Colorspace qualification is especially helpful for clients with multi-piece products (such as a letter with a promotional card and an insert in an envelope) as they can expect an excellent shared appearance across all of those pieces regardless of the equipment on which they are produced.
G7 Colorspace Shows We’re Serious About Continuous Improvement
We had previously achieved G7 Grayscale Master Qualification across our platform in 2016, but we didn’t stop there. Today’s announcement is another example of our commitment to Continuous Improvement and delivering the best results possible for our clients.
While many teams were involved in achieving our qualification, special thanks should be given to our color technical support team, along with our print operations and procurement departments for their hard work over the past six months. Their work is really just starting, as we must be recertified annually and will be pursuing Colorspace qualification for flexographic printing on our envelope converters in 2019.
