Mail-Gard is considered an industry leader in print-to-mail disaster recovery services and has been since its inception in 1996. As a leader in business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) we always work diligently to research the latest trends and innovations. One of the ways we like to keep connected is to exhibit at trade shows and conferences.
These industry-specific events afford us the opportunity to meet with our peers, clients, and even our competitors to see what’s new. We also get to hear from those in the know about what’s working—and what doesn’t work—in the BC/DR space. One of the trade shows that we see benefit in attending is the Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ) Fall Conference.
Reimagining the Way Businesses Protect What’s Important
This year’s DRJ Fall Conference is in Phoenix, Arizona, September 23–26, and the theme is “Reimagining Business Resiliency.” It seems appropriate for a 30-year-old industry to focus their sights on the latest innovations as well as emerging threats. The DRJ conference offers a large variety of seminars, round-table discussions, and mock disaster exercises as well as the ability to meet and network with other BC/DR industry experts.
While many of the attendees are from the BC/DR planning and data resources arena, DRJ Fall attendees include personnel from many areas of the industry, including information security, human resources, crisis communications, compliance, continuity of operations, and more. Sending team members from a variety of disciplines has many benefits for attendees, from continuing education credits to networking with industry peers.
DRJ Fall is for Your Whole BC/DR Team
As an exhibitor, Mail-Gard looks forward to getting the chance to connect with clients and prospects. That face-to-face connection is the best way to learn more about their recovery requirements, which then allows us to customize or refine a recovery solution to meet their needs. If you’re attending this year’s conference, I also encourage you to bring a mix of subject matter experts to the show—DR Planners, Project Management, Operations, etc.—because we speak their language, too!
If you’re undecided about attending DRJ Fall Conference, I invite you to visit the official website and start thinking about who on your team might benefit from the experience. And if you’re planning to attend, please let us know—we’ll be in booth #706 and we’d love to get together with you and your team!
