It’s almost that time again—in just seven short weeks we will be kicking off thINK 2017. The planning has been fun and we’re excited to make this our best conference yet.
What is thINK? It’s an inkjet user community focused on industry education and advancement of inkjet printing technology. The community is comprised of Canon inkjet customers, solution/software providers, paper suppliers, finishing partners, and industry experts on everything digital printing.
This year’s conference returns to Florida and will be held at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, October 9-11. Here are a few of the big reasons we’ll be there, and why you should add thINK 2017 to your calendar.
Why is thINK Such a Highlight for Attendees Every Year?
It starts with the 30+ educational sessions that cover a wide variety of subjects including inkjet basics, transitioning to digital print, how to sell inkjet, color management techniques, dynamic content, and digital paper basics—to name just a few. More than 70 speakers from across the industry will share their knowledge and experiences to help advance industry education and further the adoption of color digital printing.
There will be three dynamic keynote speakers at this year’s conference. The opening keynote will be delivered by Greg McKeown, best-selling author of Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less. Our second keynote speaker is well-known in the direct marketing industry. James Cochrane, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer for the USPS, will share his wealth of experience with domestic and international products marketing. It’s appropriate that thINK 2017 will launch new ideas for its attendees with a closing keynote by Capt. Mark Kelly, Commander of the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
One of the reasons we’re going back to Boca is because it provides the opportunity for attendees to tour Canon’s Customer Experience Center. This year’s tours will include demonstrations of the new ProStream Continuous Color inkjet printer and the opportunity to get up close and personal demonstrations of a wide variety of Canon’s inkjet products and finishing solutions.
Are You New to Inkjet or Getting Ready to Take the First Step?
There is a preconference, 1-day event on Inkjet 101 designed to provide a jump start for the full conference. If you’re an inkjet veteran, you know one of the most important topics at thINK 2017 is workflow. Workflow drives successful digital print, so there are in-depth sessions on workflow tools and techniques that make “your work flow smoothly.”
thINK is all about the inkjet community and networking. With over 300 participants from across the industry representing all disciplines from sales to production, there is a great opportunity to make new contacts and share experiences. In addition, attendees can visit the Partner Pavilion and meet the companies that support the growth of digital print. At thINK 2017, more than 30 partners are exhibiting paper, software solutions, and finishing equipment designed to improve your digital production. The Partner Pavilion is another great opportunity to learn and get expert advice on your digital production challenges.
In short, thINK 2017 will be a learning and networking opportunity in a great location with great people talking about great things.
