The Fourth of July is a time to get together and celebrate the freedoms this great nation awards to us. Across the country, Americans gather with friends, family and neighbors to indulge in cook-outs, parades and patriotic music.
239 years ago our second president, John Adams, wrote in a letter to his wife, Abigail, that this day should be celebrated with “pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, bonfires and illuminations.” And to this day, we have continued to expand on this patriotic holiday by celebrating the positive aspects of the United States of America.
This Fourth of July, when you gather with family and friends to enjoy a picnic, parade, patriotic music, a ball game or fireworks, take a moment to reflect on the values this country was founded upon and the freedom we enjoy each and every day.
All of us at IWCO Direct wish you a safe and happy Fourth of July.
