We Make Every Fish Big in Our Pond

Jim Leone

When I was around 20 years old, I reeled in a massive eight-foot sailfish. That thing was huge and it hung on my parents’ wall until they made Arizona their permanent residence. (Apparently mounted fish don’t cross state lines well.) For many years, that catch was a page in my brag book. But the longer I’m in this industry, the more I realize that it’s not always the size of the fish that matters.

One of the most disconcerting roadblocks we run into with potential customers is their perception that IWCO Direct is too big for them. I’m often surprised that some of these organizations admit to thinking their direct marketing program isn’t large enough, mature enough, or robust enough to gain our attention. Really, nothing could be further from the truth.

While it’s true that IWCO Direct helps create, produce and manage the direct marketing programs of industry leaders across the U.S., the “big fish” programs aren’t necessarily the ones that produce the most response or have the highest brand recognition. Like so many things, it’s the quality of the program that counts, not just the quantity.

We don’t subscribe to the “one size fits all” mentality. Companies have different objectives and therefore different strategies when it comes to direct marketing, and we respect the individuality of all our clients. In fact, that’s what challenges us, promotes growth, and presents opportunities for further innovation. One of the things we’re most proud of as an organization is our ability to customize our services to our clients’ needs and help them realize their marketing potential.

In our pond, every client is valued; every fish is a big one. We want you to feel like you’re IWCO Direct’s prized catch the way that sailfish was for me. One of the ways we do this is through assigning expert staff to nurture your program and lead it in the best direction possible. Your business is constantly at the top of our minds and we make your goals our own. This methodology might mean more challenges for us, but we truly believe that it’s what your business deserves.

So even if your program is still getting its sea legs, we’d be proud to be your direct marketing partner because together, we can produce something of real quality. We see your direct marketing potential and want to grow with it so that someday, it’s the eight-foot sailfish that everyone stands in awe of.
