I recently wrote about the longevity of many of our employees and the value that their decades of experience provide to IWCO Direct. Today I’m writing because we’re also looking for fresh faces to bring new skills and bright ideas to our ranks. We are hoping to fill a variety of full time positions in various departments such as IT, Client Services, Creative Services, and Operations and summer 2014 internships.
Our quest for these individuals is taking us to the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Next Tuesday we will be on campus for its Career Conference, held Tuesday, October 8, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at the Johnson Field House.
IWCO Direct has a strong relationship with UW-Stout, which is well-known for its graphic arts and communications programs, as well as producing high-quality students. We employee many Stout grads with degrees ranging from Graphics Communications Management and Multimedia Design to Industrial Technology. In fact, two of our representatives at the career fair are recent Stout grads—Nate Ryskiewicz, an Account Manager and Jared Johnson in our Creative Services department. Katie Brokaw from HR will also be in the booth. She’s not a Stout grad, but please don’t hold that against her!
We’re seeking passionate, hard-working individuals with high integrity and a strong work ethic. If you’re a current UW-Stout student interested in a position with IWCO Direct, please stop by and introduce yourself to Katie, Nate and Jared. If you’d like to standout from your peers, I recommend coming prepared with your resume and a brief “elevator pitch” that highlights what sets you apart and shows you did some research on IWCO Direct and our industry in advance.
If you’re unable to attend the Career Fair or don’t get a chance to meet with us on Tuesday, our HR team does a great job of maintaining the Careers section of our website. You can review and apply for open positions there. We look forward to meeting you! Go Blue Devils!
