PCI DSS Compliance Ensures Data Security

Jim Andersen

This morning we announced an expansion of our Level 1 PCI DSS 2.0 compliance certification across all our facilities. While the Mail-Gard® facility in Warminster, Pa., has been certified since 2007 – as well as meeting a number of additional security standards – expanding compliance across our platform demonstrates our continuing commitment to ensuring sensitive payment card information is used and stored under the highest standards of security.

Compliance with the PCI standards is enforced by the major payment card brands (American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and JCB International) who established the PCI Security Standards Council. This expansion of our compliance certification underscores that IWCO Direct has taken every precaution to keep data secure. Our customers are assured that in the unlikely event of a data compromise, our certification helps protect them from fines and compliance exposure.

At IWCO Direct and Mail-Gard, we take data security extremely seriously. Expanding our PCI DSS certification required tremendous focus and cooperation between many departments and facilities. We would like to thank everyone who was involved in the process, and appreciate their continued efforts to ensure our systems and process controls remain compliant as part of the ongoing compliance protocols.
