While our friends and colleagues were at the National Postal Forum last week, the Mail-Gard® team attended Disaster Recovery Journal’s (DRJ) Spring World 2013 in Orlando, Florida – the world’s largest conference dedicated to business continuity and disaster recovery. “Charting the Course to True Resiliency” was the central theme at this year’s show, and print-to-mail recovery was the main focus at our booth, but a product demonstration of our new solution piqued the interest of many attendees looking for electronic communication solutions.
Electronic Postmarked Email (offered in partnership with Trustifi) is our patented service that allows users (and their mail recipients) to verify the receipt of an email and provide legal proof of sending. The service is easy to use and requires no additional downloads or software – it can also confirm the date, time, recipients and contents of each email while tracking which device and at what physical location the email was opened.
It wasn’t all work at Spring World 2013. We managed to have some fun, especially during St. Patrick’s Day. The Mail-Gard team dressed in Irish attire (shamrock ties), and our “Pot of Gold” giveaway was a big hit. We even brought a few St. Patrick’s Day mugs for our especially lucky visitors.
DRJ Spring World 2013 was a successful, well-attended event – and traffic to our booth was great. We saw lots of new faces wanting to learn more about our services, and we enjoyed networking with vendors and consultants for partnership opportunities. It’s encouraging to see attendees becoming more and more in tune with the importance of print-to-mail recovery.
P.S. As I noted in a previous blog post, April is a busy month for Mail-Gard. You can find us at the RIMS 2013 Conference & Exhibition (Booth #958), the Continuity Insights Management Conference (Booth #302) and the DOCUMENT Strategy Forum (Booth #409). Stop by and say hello if you’re planning to be at any of these great events.
