Power your Marketing.

A Sneak Peek at the 2013 PODi AppForum

Debora Haskel

Now that it’s January, we’re only a few short weeks away from the 2013 PODi AppForum. If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to learn more about using digital printing technology to increase the relevance of your direct marketing campaigns, there’s still time to register for the event.

Yesterday we announced that I was selected to Chair the Cross-Media Solutions Track. I will also host a Pre-Conference Intensive session on Designing for Digital, along with my colleagues Maggie Stack and Mike Dietz. We will share how digital printing is making one-to-one marketing a reality; the “Aha!” moments for designers making the transition to digital; and how best to work with your production partners to make your next campaign a success.

Once again, I’m thrilled with the caliber of speakers scheduled to represent the Cross-Media Solutions Track. One of the biggest challenges for me in being the Track Chair is making sure I don’t get so caught up in the content that I neglect my “chair” duties. This year’s sessions will explore how various vertical markets are using digital print technology to increase sales, build greater loyalty and increase engagement. Topics include:

  • A Retail Marketing Solution That Will Knock Your Socks Off
  • Building Campaigns and Relationships in the Higher Education Market
  • The Pinehurst Golf Academy Improved their Customer Experience with Extreme Relevance
  • Tools to Tackle the Casino Industry
  • Let’s Cut the QRap!

But that’s just one Track. There are four other Tracks filled with insightful presentations, along with numerous Pre-Conference Intensive sessions and three Keynote presentations.

This will be my fourth year as a Track Chair at the AppForum. Each year seems to outdo the last, so I’m looking forward to what 2013 has in store. I firmly believe this is the best event to get current on digital printing technology while expanding your network of top marketers.  If you plan on attending this year’s conference, I hope to see you at my Designing for Digital presentation or at the Cross-Media Solutions Track sessions.
