We’re less than a month away from the biggest direct marketing events of the year – the DMA Annual Conference. One of the main themes of this year’s event is Big Data. Indeed, the ability to capture data, keep it secure and harness it to build stronger relationships and create more relevant offers is revolutionizing the direct marketing industry. However, as we touched upon this spring, privacy will be a growing concern. There’s sure to be many spirited discussions not only about how to use big data to bolster direct marketing campaigns, but also what is its proper use as the direct marketing industry is called to balance commercial use with consumer privacy.
We’re also excited to share that our own Debora Haskel, along with Bill Garvin of Healthways, will be presenting a session entitled, “How Healthways Got Its Multichannel Marketing in Shape.” It will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. This is sure to be a great session where they will explore how to produce highly personalized multichannel campaigns cost-effectively – I hope you’ll consider attending.
