On Monday I had the pleasure of announcing to our staff that Joseph Morrison will take on the expanded role of and that Pat Deck has been named Chief Marketing Officer. Both of these gentlemen have made great contributions to our company and I’m confident their expanded roles will help drive future growth for IWCO Direct and our customers.
The leadership of Joe and Pat was clearly evident during our acquisition of the U.S. operations of Transcontinental Direct early last year. Their vision can be seen throughout our new national footprint, as they were involved in every aspect of the deal, from financial, legal and IT matters to integrating our new employees, new and shared customers, and equipment into our current business model in a seamless fashion.
They are also helping to drive organic growth at IWCO Direct. For example, our new Océ ColorStream 3500 continuous digital press will offer both speed to market and cost-efficiency for our customers’ highly targeted and complex direct mail campaigns. We have plans to add additional print and mailing equipment in the coming months, and Joe and Pat are currently formulating that strategy.
These changes will allow me to devote more time with our customers as well as focus on our growth strategies. While it’s still too early to discuss specifics, we will provide updates on these matters in coming months.
