Being Aggressive on Digital Color

Jim Andersen

This morning we announced that we’ve bolstered our digital color printing capabilities with the installation of a Xerox iGen4™ at our Chanhassen facility.

This installation continues the growth of our platform-wide digital print capability and capacity. The iGen4 also provides even greater color consistency than our current iGen3™ digital presses in Chanhassen and Warminster, and features an inline spectrophotometer to measure color fidelity. Why is this important?

As we’ve been discussing in this blog, and as industry analysts have pointed out, direct marketing continues its advance toward complex, one-to-one communications with prospects and customers for customer acquisition, loyalty and engagement campaigns. Our automated marketing programs – including trigger mailings – depend on sophisticated database and digital printing technologies to quickly and efficiently tailor personalized messages. Color is a component as well – proven to provide attractive ROI on direct mail campaigns by increasing response rates without a significant increase to campaign costs. The iGen4 allows us to do all of this, faster and better than ever.

Looking forward, the importance of digital technology will continue to grow. At IWCO Direct, we’ve staked our reputation on doing direct marketing like no one else. We continue to lead in this area, and the installation of the iGen4 underscores our commitment. If you are interested in learning more about digital, and how to improve the ROI on your direct marketing campaigns, please send us an email. We would be happy to speak with you in greater detail.
