Celebrating Year One of Speaking Direct

IWCO Direct

This week marks one year of Speaking Direct, an industry leading blog which explores how to improve customer acquisition, customer loyalty and customer engagement using direct mail and digital marketing programs, along with postal issues and critical communications recovery.

When we decided to publish our blog we knew we had a lot of knowledge to share and this blog has proved to be a great forum for our readers. Speaking Direct has steadily built a strong following since our initial post. It’s been a rewarding process to maintain this blog and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way.

Looking back, the most often read post was the February 10 announcement of our new national footprint resulting from our acquisition of the U.S. operations of Transcontinental Direct. Our Full-Service IMb (Intelligent Mail Barcode) article elicited the most comments. This is obviously a topic that has a lot of interest across the industry. We will continue to devote content to the changing technologies and related opportunities to allow Speaking Direct to become an educational forum where leaders from across our industry can share insights and perspectives.

Our goal is to make Speaking Direct as relevant as possible to our readers. When you find the content particularly valuable we hope you’ll pass the link along to your friends and colleagues. If there is a topic you would like to see us address in 2011, please feel free to add a comment.
