Yesterday we hosted our 10th Annual Supplier Summit in Chanhassen. For those unfamiliar with the event, our Supplier Summit allows us to connect with our key suppliers on a level that has tangible results for customers.
First and foremost, it’s an opportunity to thank them for playing such an integral role in our ability to serve our customer needs. Quite simply, our Total Package offering wouldn’t be possible without the strong partnerships we’ve built with our suppliers based on value, innovation, and quality performance. From printing equipment and service to paper, inks, plastics, adhesives and logistics – a tremendous amount of support pulls together to ensure that every month, hundreds of millions of direct marketing packages leave our facilities as efficiently as possible.
The Supplier Summit also allows us to update these key partners on the current state of our business, along with our short– and long–term outlook. As you’ve probably guessed, quite a bit of last night’s discussion focused on our recent acquisition of the U.S. operations of Transcontinental Direct and the exciting impact it’s having on our customer acquisition, loyalty and engagement offerings as well as our critical communications recovery services.
