John leads the team of executives who are responsible for IWCO Direct’s position as a leader in data-driven marketing. He joined IWCO Direct in 2020, bringing an extensive track record of leadership within Steel Partners that will build value for all stakeholders of IWCO Direct. Prior to joining IWCO Direct, John served as President & CEO of Lucas Milhaupt, a Steel Partners company. At Lucas, John was quick to establish systems and structures that enabled the team to successfully overcome some tough market challenges. From 1992 to 2018, John was with OMG, Inc., another Steel Partners company. John served as SVP & GM of OMG’s FastenMaster Division for his last eight years with the company, leading the team to more than double the sales and profit of this key business unit. John is a graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME, where he played ECAC-E hockey.
VP, Head of Marketing Services
With an agency background spanning three decades, Tedd adds to IWCO Direct’s expertise in the development and execution of innovative direct marketing strategies. His agency experience saw him leading award-winning direct marketing efforts for numerous national and international brands. At IWCO Direct, he applies his insights to create new and enhanced client relationships while helping clients achieve measurable results. Tedd attended Michigan State University, served as a mentor for the Richmond Ad Club, has been a guest speaker for multiple universities, and is a former member of the Board of Governors for the Direct Marketing Association’s International ECHO Awards.
Bri is responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations for IWCO Direct. She uses her financial reporting skills to identify the most efficient and effective way to provide meaningful and real-time data to the company related to financial performance, customer profitability, and operational metrics. Prior to joining IWCO Direct, Bri worked for a mix of public and private companies in the retail, professional services, and distribution industries, where she built experience focused on core accounting functions, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, ERP implementations, M&A, and general administration. Bri has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas in Accounting and Financial Management, and has earned CPA status.
VP Hamburg Operations
Frank leads our Hamburg, PA manufacturing operations team by working to ensure that the culture is positive and all employees are positioned for success. He joined the company in 1978 and has held multiple roles during that time. He likes to say his specialty is fixing things, and most challenges have fairly simple solutions. Frank takes pride in fostering teamwork and relationships across departments and facilities, encouraging people to work together to reach a common goal, saying, “it’s the dedication and drive of the team that makes success possible.”
SVP Sales & Customer Solutions
Dave is a high energy and forward-thinking executive sales leader with a proven record providing collaborative, innovative marketing solutions by engaging multiple channels and organizational resources. He brings nearly 40 years of direct marketing experience to his role, where he is responsible for guiding and supporting the IWCO Direct sales and account executive teams in creating innovative solutions that deliver exceptional results for our clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Speech Communication from Syracuse University.
SVP HR/Environment Health & Safety
Sarah works collaboratively to strengthen the development, health, and safety of IWCO Direct’s employees. Her focus on job enrichment, wellness, training and development, and pay-for-performance programs guides our ability to recruit, retain, and engage team members, contributing to our company’s success. Prior to joining IWCO Direct, Sarah spent more than 16 years with OMG, Inc., another Steel Partners company, in positions of increasing responsibility, leading to her promotion to Vice President HR EHS in 2018. In addition to her responsibilities at OMG, she helped create a wellness program for Steel Partners and served as Wellness Council Chair. Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College, and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Suffolk University Law School.
EVP Business Development
Steve brings more than 20 years of technology-focused senior management experience in a variety of positions, including sales and operations, to his role with IWCO Direct. He leads a team dedicated to developing and implementing short- and long-range competitive advantages to grow market share, drive sales, enhance results, and strengthen the IWCO Direct brand. Most recently, Steve served as chief executive officer at marketing services provider Universal Wilde, where he had a track record of success in redefining strategy and creating sales and operational excellence with positive bottom-line results. Steve is a member of multiple organizations that focus on direct marketing, postal issues, technology, and graphic communications.
VP Content Development
As the leader of the Content Development team, Jim is responsible for the transformation and delivery of variable digital content along with advancing new content-related digital technologies. He has been on the leading edge in developing direct mail solutions for three decades as variable data and personalization continued to be a catalyst for change. In 2001 he was recognized as an Innovation Award winner for Best New Product—Jetproof, and he served on the Digital Printing Advisory Council in 2015. Jim graduated from Saint Joseph’s College with a BS in Business Administration.
VP Marketing Strategy
Ted brings insightful data-driven marketing strategies to our clients to increase response rates and drive a higher return on marketing investment (ROMI) for their organizations. He is a dynamic leader with more than 30 years of experience as a senior-level executive delivering multichannel marketing programs spanning multiple industries, including non-profit, healthcare, technology, financial services, retail, and travel. Ted is highly regarded for his proven ability to integrate data-driven direct mail into highly effective omnichannel marketing campaigns with a focus on creative development, project management, and back-end analysis. Ted holds a Bachelor of Arts from Abilene Christian University.
Executive Creative Director
Reid leads our Creative Services team in developing direct marketing campaigns that deliver results, leveraging insights from IWCO Direct’s Account, Strategy, and Data & Analytics groups. He brings a collaborative mindset and more than 25 years of experience as a writer and creative director in creating award-winning campaigns that earn attention. Holmes has served at agencies including Doner, McCann, and Ogilvy & Mather; working with brands like H&R Block, Burger King, and Domino’s Pizza. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
VP Supply Chain
Ken oversees all aspects of IWCO Direct’s supply chain, collaborating with both suppliers and customers to develop new ways to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and generate value for our clients, while driving profitable growth for the company. He is a flexible and collaborative leader with more than 20 years of experience successfully executing best practices in contract activities, supplier performance and risk management, and enterprise logistics and transportation.Ken believes in working together cross-functionally to drive cost optimization, enhance business operations, and improve our clients’ experiences. He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University.
VP Minnesota Operations
Rick is an industry veteran with more than three decades of experience. His extraordinary ability to understand workflow and systems, combined with his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, are the foundation of a career filled with success stories of driving quality and improving labor utilization while reducing production cycle time. Rick leverages technology and processes to drive solutions and meet customer expectations. His engaging leadership approach is based on helping people leverage their strengths to drive their personal growth.
SVP Operations & Customer Experience
Patrick wears multiple hats at IWCO Direct. With overall responsibilities for operations, customer experience, and the client onboarding process, he helps ensure IWCO Direct is positioned to manage and execute direct marketing campaigns that exceed client expectations. In his role as leader of the Operations, Client Services, Total Quality, Training, and Continuous Improvement teams, he sets the company’s strategic priorities for improving quality and processes across the IWCO Direct platform by implementing the Steel Business System, as well as Lean and Six Sigma approaches. He enjoys tackling the fast-paced and challenging side of direct marketing by helping to create a company culture that empowers teams to be successful. Patrick is Six Sigma Blackbelt certified and holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from UW-Madison and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also served as President of the Woodbury Area Hockey Club in Minnesota, where he built relationships with city leaders to support its long-term growth.
SVP Marketing Strategy & Data Analytics
Wes helps clients evaluate the effectiveness of their current direct marketing efforts and sets the strategic direction of their future campaigns. He developed and refined his strategic marketing abilities over 20 years, providing strategic marketing solutions to more than 100 blue chip clients. Wes is excited to be at the center of a new age of marketing, where the ability to create customers is driven by data and analytics but dependent on emotion, creativity, and passion. He believes nearly every element of the marketing mix is (and should be) measurable and accountable. His career began with a BFA in Advertising Design from Grand Canyon University and evolved into executive roles at firms including DDB, Cramer-Krasselt, and Direct Partners (Omnicom). He is also active in his local community, serving as an advisor to a Boy Scouts High Adventure Group in Glendora, CA.
VP Operations Services
Leah is a talented learning and development professional who is adept at leading multiple work-streams. She uses her skills to simplify complex processes and develop training that enables skill development and performance improvement. Throughout her career, she has been a versatile team player and proven problem solver, who excels at analyzing complex problems and guiding cross-functional teams to identifying and implementing effective, sustainable solutions. Her focus is on facilitating collaboration between locations and departments. Leah looks for ways to leverage the substantial talent on these teams to optimize workflow, develop the team members’ skills, and help them achieve their career goals.
