Mail-Gard Set to Attend National Conferences, Undergo Changes

Spring is off to a fast start for us at Mail-Gard. We’re always looking for ways to improve our offering to customers, which keeps us busy and focused on innovation. And what better way to improve our industry-leading solutions than by taking part in the nation’s top conferences?

The Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ) held its semi-annual conference March 25-28 in Orlando, Fla. DRJ’s Spring World 2012 provided a number of excellent keynote sessions, interactive workshops and a mock disaster exercise. This year’s disaster scenario focused on the U.S. Intelligence Community and recovery of its highly secretive data in the event of an outdated plan. We learned a lot, had a blast and can’t wait to go back this fall.

With March behind us, April will be equally busy. We’re proud to demonstrate our critical communications recovery solutions at two national conferences. The Continuity Insights Management Conference will be held April 16-18 in Scottsdale, Ariz., while the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) will host its annual conference and exhibition April 15-18 in Philadelphia, Pa. As the value of efficient and effective continuity and recovery plans continues to grow, remaining on the cutting edge has never been more important. We’re committed to advancing our industry’s overall knowledge and role in business.

In addition to Mail-Gard’s upcoming exhibitions, we’re excited to announce the relocation of our primary print and recovery facility to Ivyland, Pa., located roughly two miles from our current location and home to our data center. We plan to have this move completed by July 31, 2012. Mail-Gard’s secondary recovery facility in Chanhassen, Minn., will expand with the transfer of print and insert equipment as IWCO Direct resets its platform. This will improve our overall efficiency and allow Mail-Gard to expand our offering.

As we continue to enhance our capabilities, we’re committed to putting our customers first and keeping them updated every step of the way. If you have any questions about these changes to our operations or would like to meet at either event in April, please feel free to get in touch.
